Design of Josef Kučeras' POETRY COLLECTIONS.
Austere design, fine paper selection with an emphasis on typography.

The book shouts "TICHO", the meaning is "SILENCE" while the title may be translated as "Side Effects of Silence"

The typography uses many alternative features, such as ligatures.

The cover and the illustrations are printed on Peregrina Majestic. It takes advatage of its dimly metallic feature.

The first of the books has been rather modest debut compared to the second poetry collection. Strictly black and white compositions, very austere design and one paper in two grammages was selected. Though there is not many graphic elements in the book, the typography (Karmina Sans, Esakapade Fraktur by Typetogether) and material (Munken Lynx) was carefully chosen.
